Alexys Miller, Intern

Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure where to begin? Life’s challenges can make it difficult to stay grounded, but you don’t have to face them alone. Counseling offers a supportive space to reconnect with what truly matters and develop practical, effective strategies for growth and balance. As an intern, my approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), emphasizing the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll focus on building awareness, strengthening coping skills, and creating meaningful steps toward the life you want. Whether you’re working to find balance, build confidence, or improve relationships, I’ll meet you with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based support. You are capable of change, and it starts with one intentional step forward.

Get to Know Me

I love all things sports and enjoy staying active whenever I can! Family means everything to me, and I’m also a proud dog mom to a four-year-old Mini Bernedoodle who completely runs the show. I was born and raised in Colorado, so I’ll always have a soft spot for the mountains and a good dose of sunshine. When I’m not working, you can usually find me thrifting for hidden treasures or spending time with the people (and pup!) I love most.
