Movie Series Social-Emotional Learning Group- Starts Feb. 18 + 19
Roots and Wings is excited to Present the Movie Series, a social emotional learning therapy group, open to both clients and non-clients, four groups divided by grade level.
- Grades K- 2nd: starts Feb. 18 at 4 PM
- Grades 3-5th: starts Feb. 18 at 5 PM
- Grades 6th-8th: starts Feb. 19 at 4 PM
- Grades 9th-12th: starts Feb. 19 at 5 PM
- $35/ session/ child, 8 week committed enrollment
- 50% paid upfront, remaining balance divided between 8 sessions ($17.50 / session)
Social Skills
Empathy and Understanding: By discussing characters and their actions, teens and children will develop a deeper sense of empathy and understanding of others.
Building Relationships: The group setting encourages teens to interact with peers, fostering the development of positive and supportive relationships.
Communication Skills
Active Listening: Children and adolescents will learn to listen attentively to others, understanding different perspectives and responding thoughtfully.
Expressing Emotions: The group provides a safe space for the kids to articulate their feelings and thoughts, enhancing their ability to communicate effectively.
Coping Techniques
Stress Management: Kids will explore various strategies to manage stress, such as mindfulness and relaxation techniques.
Problem-Solving Skills: Through discussions about movie scenarios, the kids and teens will learn to approach problems calmly and think critically about solutions.

Moms at Home Arbor: A support circle for mothers- Starts Feb. 20
Just as a tree grows strong with deep roots and wide branches, stay-at-home moms need a community where they can grow, connect, and find balance. The Arbor group is a nurturing space where you can share your experiences, gain support, and build lasting connections with others who understand the journey of motherhood.
- $35/ session/ participant, 6 week committed enrollment

Couples Connection group- Strengthen Your Bond Starts Feb. 14
Relationships require effort, and our Couples Connection Group is designed to help you and your partner reconnect, communicate, and grow together. In a supportive and engaging environment, you’ll participate in fun activities and meaningful discussions that foster deeper connection and understanding. Whether you’re looking to enhance your relationship or simply enjoy quality time together, this group offers the perfect opportunity to invest in your partnership.
- $120 entry fee per couple, $60 per participant
- ongoing once a month on Fridays
