Ann Williams, Resident in Counseling

Hello! I’m Ann, a Resident in Counseling with an M.S. Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University. I have a passion for walking alongside individuals; children, teens, and adults; as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their capacity for healing and growth. My counseling approach is person centered, warm, and empathetic. I believe in creating a safe space where clients can be fully authentic and feel truly seen and heard.

I use an eclectic, evidence based approach, integrating techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and solution focused therapy. I work with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, self esteem, life transitions, and emotional regulation. My goal is to tailor our work to your unique needs and help you move forward with confidence and clarity.

With nearly two decades as a Montessori educator and as a registered yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance, I bring a holistic perspective that honors both mind and body. If you’re ready to begin your journey toward a healthier, more fulfilling life, I would be honored to support you. Let’s work together to create lasting, meaningful change.
