Welcome to Roots and Wings Connections! Our Administration Team will assist you throughout your wellness journey with us, from your initial introduction to our practice to any additional assistance you may require. We understand that embarking on a new journey can be exciting and overwhelming. We believe every person deserves a thoughtful and attentive experience, and our administration team is here to provide that experience.
Brittany was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, where she currently resides with her husband and two sons. From a young age, Brittany knew she wanted a career dedicated to helping people. She worked as a dental assistant for six years before deciding to become a stay-at-home mom shortly after the birth of her first son. Brittany loves motherhood and enjoys watching her two little boys grow and change each day. She feels blessed to be part of Roots and Wings Connections, where she continues pursuing her passion for helping others. In her free time, Brittany enjoys camping, dirt biking, baking, crocheting, and taking her sons on little adventures.
Markie, our VP of Billing & Finance, is excited to assist you throughout your journey to healing. Markie enjoys helping others and seeing them succeed, and she is committed to providing support to both clients and counselors to help each individual reach their own goals. Her goal is to ensure that every client receives personalized and compassionate care, and she looks forward to being a part of your wellness journey. Markie manages the billing and finance department. She has a lovely sense of humor and genuinely cares for our personnel and clients. Outside of work, Markie loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys watching streaming shows to unwind.
Tracy is our lovely HR Rep for Roots and Wings Connections. Tracy was born and raised in Maine, then moved to Virginia in 2008. Her passion has always been to help others, whether in nursing for 33 years, as a scheduler, supervisor of staff, EMT-B, or client care coordinator, she’s always chosen an occupation that cares.
Tracy’s passions outside of work is spending time with her family. She loves going to Florida to spend time with her parents. She also loves and enjoys being fully involved with her grandson. Tracy’s interests are crocheting, reading, BBQ’s, hoverboarding, puzzles, and taking new classes, to learn more. She is excited to be part of our administrative team.

Lanie is the Billing and Accounting Technician, where she works closely with Markie, our VP of Operations, within the Billing Department. Thrilled to be a part of your journey toward healing, Lanie brings to the practice a genuine passion for assisting others and witnessing their triumphs in pursuing their passions. Her objective is to guarantee that each client receives not only personalized but also deeply compassionate attention, and she is eagerly looking forward to accompanying you on your unique path to wellness.
Outside of work, Lanie finds immense joy in embracing her role as a dedicated mother, striving to provide the utmost support and care for her loved ones. During her leisure hours, she indulges in her love for art, immersing herself in the vibrant colors and creative expressions of various mediums. Lanie enjoys painting, and is very skilled in graphic design. She also enjoys movies, and immerses herself in the captivating worlds woven within the pages of literature.
Baylie grew up in Reno, Nevada, where she developed a deep appreciation for nature, creativity, and animals. She recently moved to Virginia after working as a vet tech and loving every minute of caring for animals. A free-spirited soul, she finds beauty in life’s small moments, especially sunsets, which never fail to captivate her.
Her spirituality runs deep, and she has an extensive knowledge of crystals, finding energy and meaning in their presence. Artistic and crafty, she loves creating and expressing herself through various forms of art. She enjoys going out and spending quality time with friends, making the most of her time in Virginia.
She’s excited to explore but knows she’ll eventually return to the West Coast, where her heart remains. With plans to become a veterinarian, she’s working hard to make that dream a reality.
